Wonderful Mercy's Children's Ministry believes we can:

EXPECT . . . our children to fall more in love with Jesus!

REJOICE . . . in opportunities for the children to be filled with the Spirit!

WATCH . . . for families to be renewed and strengthened!

In Luke 18:16-17, Jesus gathered children around him and warned the adults, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

A key component for our children fully receiving the kingdom is to be in an environment in which they are regularly given the opportunity to grow and experience God in limitless ways. Our Children’s Ministry provides seeds of faith and inspiration through:

• Reading the Word
• Fun and fellowship: our midweek gathering for kids, Outbreak!
• Sunday School

God wants to move powerfully in this church and we sense the children have a special role in His plan. We can draw encouragement from Proverbs 19:21, which says, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Or as Eugene Peterson captures it in The Message, “We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.”
