What is Theophostic Prayer?

Theophostic Prayer Ministry (TPM) is purposeful, focused prayer resulting in a genuine experience with the presence of Christ, bringing a renewed way of thinking and, subsequently, a transformed life.

In its most basic form Theophostic is prayer focused on:
  1. embracing, owning, and taking responsibility for our emotional pain
  2. being willing to release all defenses and other obstacles the Father reveals that are sabotaging our move towards His purposes
  3. comprehending, recognizing, and exposing the lie-based causes of our emotional pain
  4. willingly offering everything revealed by the Father to Him for His release and emotional healing
The name “Theophostic” is derived from two New Testament Greek words: theos which means God, and phos which means light. The combination of the words describes God’s ability to shine His light into the darkened and painful parts of our lives and deliver His truth in order to cancel out the lie-based thinking that we have developed.

Theophostic Ministry is prayer, not counseling, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit the root sources of our emotional pain can be discovered and healed.
