Wonderful Mercy is a praying church! Prayer is at the heart of who and what we are, and prayer covers and empowers every ministry of our church. God is building us into a house of prayer, a place of love and power and healing.

Our church has a mandate from the Lord to become a house of prayer. As Isaiah 56:7 states, “…my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

• We pray to seek His presence
• We pray to recognize His presence
• We pray to respond to His presence
• We pray for each other
• We pray for the lost, the orphans, and the widows
• We pray for our city and the salvation of the lost
• We pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven

Each month we come together for a time of pursuing the presence of God. Sometimes our focus is on prayer, sometimes it is on worship, and sometimes we have special guest ministers with us. While the format may change from meeting to meeting, our purpose will not: going after God with our whole hearts!

Romans 15:5-6 “Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Theophostic prayer is a ministry for anyone desiring freedom from darkness. These trained prayer teams help lead people to Jesus, which exposes the lies of the enemy, and brings the truth that heals. This is done in a loving and safe environment by scheduled appointment.
