The ARC

Wonderful Mercy’s affiliation is with the Alliance of Renewal Churches. Wonderful Mercy voted unanimously to partner with the ARC on November 24, 2002. Wonderful Mercy’s senior pastor, Graeme Sellers, serves on the Leadership Team for the ARC.

The ARC is:

An alliance of autonomous churches that network together in committed relationships because of common values and vision, not just theology. A strategic alignment of congregations that will provide encouragement, fellowship, consultation, accountability, covering, and prayer.

Seek the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
Believe that the gifts of the Spirit are essential, not optional add-ons.
Unite together to help churches of Lutheran heritage to transition into what God is doing today.
Agree to network together and build relationships of trust.
Believe it is preferable to be interdependent rather than independent.
